Marc Andreessen has a post over at pmarca.com comparing public speaking vs. blogging.
In it, he draws the comparison between the old method of getting a message out (give a speach, have a reporter mangle it) and the new method, write a blog post. Of course, there’s the hibred approach, record the speach, throw it up on YouTube, and embed it in your blog.
